Our Authoring solution enables editors, teachers, and generally educationalists of all backgrounds to create highly interactive, rich digital education solutions. Following a strong philosophy giving educational design precedence over technology considerations, the Avallain Author and the production process and workflow unites the best of the two worlds successfully. Highly customizable and capable of output to formats in HTML5 or Flash or even PDF or specific XML formats, and stacked with more than 100 interaction variations to start from, the Avallain Author beats the competition in any serious evaluation. Diverse input possibilities ranging from Word import to direct online authoring allow for a reasonable transition from your existing processes.
The Avallain Author is one of the only Authoring systems using an object oriented approach for learning methods (http://www.emeraldinsight.com/journals.htm?articleid=1612631) and thereby is an extremely efficient and flexible tool for large scale publishing of interactive material.

Avallain META is an architecture used to construct custom educational platforms. Instead of building further individual platforms on Java basis, we decided in 2008 to create this framework based on an emerging (and by now extremely successful) development approach - Ruby on Rails. This has helped making custom development much more scalable and efficient.
